About Translators without Borders Translators without Borders (TWB) is a non-profit organization offering language and translation support for humanitarian and development agencies, and other non-profit organizations on a global scale. Our mission is to provide people access to vital knowledge in their language by providing aid in humanitarian crisis response through translation services, by assessing language and communications needs and preferences, by building language translation capacity at the local level, and by raising awareness globally of language barriers.

Background: The World Food Programme (WFP) and International Organization for Migration (IOM) have been increasingly concerned about the challenges that occur whilst communicating effectively with its staff, contractors, and partners about the prevention of sexual abuse and exploitation. WFP and IOM are aware that they work with a large number of staff, partners, and contractors who may find their materials a challenge to access and understand. They would like to understand what the priorities are for improving existing materials and test out a newly developed collection of multilingual information. It is to support this process that these interviews are set.

The research assistance will consist of up to 20 days which will be spread out over the period of 3rd May - 15th June

Responsibilities of the interpreter/research assistant :
