Description: Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in the classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction. Qualifications: Minimum of a master's degree, preferably in Russian, is required. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in Russian and experience teaching Russian at the college level. Consideration will also be given to native speakers of Russian who have a master's degree in a language-teaching-related area such as Russian or English education, Linguistics, or Second Language Acquisition. A teaching approach grounded in communicative language acquisition is essential. Expertise with online and hybrid delivery modes is desirable. Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.
